Lexus said Tuesday that it was putting a temporary halt to sales of the 2010 GX 460 after Consumer Reports said it found the SUV to be a safety risk and urged its readers not to buy the vehicle until it is fixed. Jaguar will take center stage in August as the featured marque at the 2011 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Jaguar's long history in competition and design will be highlighted and will include a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Jaguar E-type, the 60th anniversary of Stirling Moss's victory in a Jaguar C-type at Le Mans and Phil Hill's XK120's 1950 win at the inaugural Pebble Beach Road Races. This will be the third time the British car company has been featured in Monterey, in addition to 1976 and 1992.
The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will launch at the Detroit Motor Show 2010
There’s been a fair bit of news on Cadillac’s performance halo car the CTS-V of late. We had Bob Lutz taking on all comers at the Monticello Race Track in New York for the CTS-V Challenge (which turned in to a one-make competition) and the ubiquitous Mt Lutz confirming that Cadillac will be making a CTS-V Wagon (Estate, to us).
